General Appearance: Rei is five feet and five inches in height and one hundred ten pounds in weight. She has fair, sensitive skin so she gets easy sunburn. She has short black unkept hair, and crystal blue eyes. Unlike normal girls her age, she has a flat chest - so she is easily mistaken for a boy. She wears a long sleeve fishnet and long fishnet pants, and over that is her actual clothing which consists of a shirt that tucks in to stay closed. Over that, he has a white stash with the konoha headband tied around it. Rei wears simple black shorts, and over the shorts she has a bandage tied around a small portion of it, and over that is a black kunai holster. She wears black gloves that have no finger holes and black shinobi sandals.

Personality: Generally, Rei is quite and doesn't really pay attention to anyone. She'd rather have an apathetic view of things. She is not a cold person, she's caring and considerate but it doesn't mean she won't have a little fun at the expense of others. She's dedicated to the task at hand and many doubt Rei from just looking at her, you wouldn't think a someone like her would be a shinobi, let alone a Uchiha. She has a love for all types of animals and some insects. When in a battle, there is a major difference in her personality. She goes to a 'I could care less' attitude to someone who will show no mercy to anyone. The reason for this is because of her 'inner demon' Some say, Uchiha clan members want one thing, and one thing alone. Power. That is a superstition, not all uchiha want that. But in Rei's case, she does. She is willing to harm anything, or anyone to obtain it.

The Clan
History, Legend of the Clan:
The Uchiha clan was descended from the elder of the two boys entrusted by the Sage of the Six Paths with the power and will of the way of the ninja. The elder believed that might would bring peace. The Sage chose the younger as more fitting to be his successor, causing the elder to be vengeful. From the younger boy descended the Senju clan who would be the eternal rivals of the Uchiha. Before the founding of the ninja villages, the Uchiha were one of the many mercenary clans for hire. Because of their Sharingan, the Uchiha clan came to be known as one of the two strongest clans, the second being the Senju clan. Madara Uchiha was particularly powerful, and, upon attaining the Mangekyō Sharingan, he took control of the clan. Under his leadership the Uchiha grew stronger, conquering whatever clans they came upon, such that, whenever the Uchiha clan was hired for a job, the opposing side would hire the Senju.

Hashirama Senju, the leader of the Senju clan, grew tired of the endless fighting, and approached the Uchiha clan with a peace treaty. Madara feared that an alliance would lead the Uchiha to ruin, but his clan disagreed, and he was forced to accept. The two clans came together to form Konoha, with Hashirama being selected as Hokage. Madara believed that this was proof that the Uchiha would be made subservient to the Senju, but his clan saw this only as his attempt to rekindle the flames of war. They turned their backs on him, and he defected. Following Madara's betrayal, the Second Hokage gave the Uchiha control of the Konoha Military Police Force as a sign of trust. According to Madara, this was really just a way of keeping the Uchiha in check and out of Konoha's governing affairs. Over the years, some Uchiha have figured out this motive's true meaning, and tried to rebel against the village as Madara did, but they found that it was too little, too late to make a difference, as the Senju had already completely suppressed the Uchiha. Eventually a revolt was attempted by a select few Uchiha members, but this was crushed quickly and they were thrown in jail or put to death based on their role in the uprising. The Uchiha who did not partake in it, were not held accountable and after that the relations between the Uchiha and the rest of the village grew stronger and trust was finally instilled.
Kekkai Genkai or Bloodline of the Clan:

Sharingan is the blood inheritance limit of the Uchiha Clan. The Uchiha are said to be descendants of the Hyuuga, with the Byakugan changing into the Sharingan over time. This doujutsu (eye skill) gives one the ability to read Genjutsu, Taijutsu and Ninjutsu and then defeat it. As such, the clan member can view a technique being performed and almost instantly memorize the movements required to be able to complete it, including the needed chakra moldings and seals used. However the clan member cannot copy techniques that are unique to another bloodline and the clan member must have a body capable of meeting the chakra and physical requirements to do the jutsu. This rarely stops the clan member though, as such stressful situations often push their limits farther and allow them to harness their full potential.

The Uchiha clan member is not granted the Sharingan at birth; it is only activated later in life, typically during a time of emotional stress in the heat of battle. The Sharingan itself can be transferred to another non-Uchiha by a medical ninja, such as happened with Leaf ninja Uchiha Obito to his teammate Hatake Kakashi. Because his body was not born to carry the Sharingan, the eye is always activated and it burns Kakashi's chakra when used. To lessen the impact of the Sharingan on Kakashi's body, he normally keeps the eye hidden and out of use. Also of note, is the fact Kakashi, a non-Uchiha, was able to advance the Sharingan from two tomoe to three tomoe after gaining the eye.

The Sharingan itself contains three tomoe (comma). A higher mastery of the Sharingan can be seen in the creation of a new tomoe in the eye, with three tomoe being the typical highest form of the eye. The rare Mangekyou form is a unique evolution of the Sharingan beyond the three tomoe form, please see its entry for more information. An eye possessing two tomoe can allow the Uchiha clan member to track the movement of an opponent and do some minor copying of an opponents attack. For avoiding incoming attacks, the Uchiha's speed and agility will greatly control whether they can move to avoid it. However, three tomoe will greatly help in this area.

Two tomoe will also allow the ninja to pierce Genjutsu and see the surrounding reality for what it really is. It can also allow the member to pierce another’s body and see their chakra. While the eye is not refined enough to see the tenketsu and chakra circulatory system like the Byakugan, it can view the movement and flow of chakra. This can help them tell if a person is trapped in a Genjutsu, or if an attacker is a real threat or merely a bunshin.

An eye containing three tomoe will allow the ninja to see the image of an attacker’s next move from the slightest muscle tension in their body. This prevents wasteful movement and allows the Uchiha clan member to conserve much needed chakra in battle. It allows them to synchronize their movement to strike at an area moments before their opponent is even in that spot, essentially allowing them to strike out and hit their opponent before they're even there.

Three tomoe also grants the Uchiha the ability to do Genjutsu and hypnosis after locking eyes with an enemy. This can be used to cause their opponent to do an attack of the Uchiha's choosing. This hypnosis can also be used as a Genjutsu counter, which is the ability to turn a Genjutsu spell back upon the original caster without the requirement of forming any hand seals.

The Mangekyō Sharingan ( Literally meaning Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye) is a heightened form of Sharingan. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to powerful and forbidden techniques. The Mangekyō Sharingan is distinguished from a normal Sharingan through its appearance, which changes the form of the tomoe seal. Unlike in the case of the Sharingan, the appearance of the Mangekyō Sharingan differs from user to user. The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, and erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be alleviated by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. The techniques used by this eye vary from person to person and is limited to one technique per eye. It can be achieved by the killing of someone who is very close to the user as a display of being willing to sacrifice anything for power. This can not be fooled and be a fake friend. It must be a real and true strong connection so it takes a certain kind of individual to be able to get it. It can also be gotten by extremely brutal and long training, taking many years to obtain of constant hard work and dedication, though the person can not be aiming for it and it actually just happens at random. Even with the hardest work, it is possible for an Uchiha to never achieve this level of eye mastery.

History:

Birth Arc - Young Life

Rei was born fourteen years ago in the village of Konoha to two loving parents. Her father was an ANBU captain while her mother was an academy teacher at the academy. Both of them were always really busy, and because Rei was just an infant she had to come with them. Her father tried to bring her to the ANBU headquarters, but they said it was too dangerous for just a mere child. So she went to the academy with her mother, usually she just sat on the desk drawing what some call 'scribble scrabble.' When she turned tree, she was able to walk around the classroom and down the aisles like a teacher would do. When she turned ten, her parents deemed her old enough to stay home alone. She trained her accuracy when she was alone and was basically training like she was in the academy. When she turned twelve, she decided to enter the academy. And her parents agreed to sign her up.

Academy Arc

Probably the best her class, she was passing with high marks. Many students though that because she was an uchiha, she was advanced. It was because she spent her early years in the academy as her mother taught a full class of students and she had been sucked into it so many it was basically like being taught what she already knew. When the first report card came, her parents were very pleased. She was passing every class, and with high marks, too. After a while in the academy, it was time for genin examinations. She passed with flying colors. She had advanced to genin.

Genin Arc

Finally a genin, she is a full fledged shinobi - except at the lowest rank possible. When coming home from training one day, she arrived to a horrible site. Her mother was on the ground, laying in a pool of blood. And her father was the cause. He stood there with a blood stained kunai in his hand. After Rei experienced this site, her father looked up and had vanished. Trying to forget that every happened, she plans to rise up in the ranks, and on the way there she searches for any possible way to gain power.

Konohagakure no Sato. A once peaceful, quite, nice village. Until disaster kicked in. The village was on the verge of being turned to dust and ash. Strange enough, Akiko was walking with her hands to her sides like this was just another casual day. She looked around and the scenery sunk in. This village was done for, and everyone knew it. She saw a cheetah running around - the hokages cheetah to be exact. Probably to tell the people where to go. The cheetah ran past Akiko, and what she heard was "...Yuki..." "Guess I have to go to Yukigakure..." Great, just what she needed. To live in a cold place. Her attire didn't suite that climate very well.

She arrived at the gates of the village, where she was to leave and probably never to return. She stepped out of the village and walked down a path that lead to the village hidden in the snow. Halfway down the path, she turned back and looked at the fallen village. "Goodbye, Konoha..." She said and turned around, the site being almost unbearable to her eyes. She kept moving forward, wanting to look back one last time but she decided not to. "Forever..." She ended, and when she glanced back... Konoha was out of sight.
